Exercise is such a crucial part of a healthy child's life.

First, it helps them build habits and fond memories around exercise that will stick with them for life. That way they naturally make exercise part of their lives as adults.

And second, it relieves stress, helps keep them calm, prevents diabetes and other weight-related conditions in children, and so much more.

Plus, when done right, it's a ton of fun. That's why we make sure your child gets a healthy dose of exercise in every session.

Leadership Skills

Martial arts teaches discipline, focus, respect, attentiveness, and diplomacy. It teaches children to think things through... to show courtesy to everyone around them... and to stand up for what's right.

Martial arts also teaches peace. We show kids that violence is only a last resort. Kids learn to talk things out, and come to an understanding with one another.

In short, they learn the makings of a true leader.

Campers do cardio workouts, they get a 30-minute Martial Art class Monday through Thursday, and throughout the day we also do a lot of exercises disguised as games to keep the kids active. Character development is a very important part of our camp. Every week we focus on a different theme: like friendship, or courage, or responsibility. All week long we'll have discussions about that topic, do activities related to the topic, and complete written and arts projects related to that topic. Of course, we also do at least 1 or 2 fun field trips per week!

  • Is this an intensive sports training camp?

No, it's not an intensive training camp. It's an activity camp that incorporates elements of martial arts, fitness, and other sports. So kids stay active, but they're not literally working out every hour of the day.

  • What kind of field trips do you do?

Among the places we have in mind are, ice skating, horseback riding, rock climbing, the movies, the zoo, the botanical gardens, and family entertainment centers with fun rides, bumper cars, inflatable slides. We may even challenge another martial arts school to a water gun battle!
